Giraffe
Giraffe is a young, fast growing restaurant business with over 25 sites across the UK. Giraffe provides all day dining in a relaxed atmosphere with great customer service.
In March 2004 Risk Capital Partners provided funds to Giraffe's founder Russel Joffe, to roll this award winning, family friendly all day casual dining concept out to other sites in London and the South East. In October 2006 3i Group plc invested £10m to take a minority stake in Giraffe valuing the business at £24 million and RCP’s stake at 5.5x cost. RCP firmly believes in the growth of Giraffe and elected not to sell any shares in the 3i deal. Giraffe has funding in place to open 10 sites per annum for the next few years.
